111th Street Construction (May '10) Motorists are advised to begin exploring alternate routes such as 95th Street, 103rd Street and 119th Street in advance of construction to avoid delays. The project is slated for completion in November 2010. The city will periodically distribute project alerts and information via e-mail. Residents and motorists are encouraged to register for the 111th Street Improvement Project e-Newsletter at www.naperville.il.us/enews.aspx.
The week of May 3, 2010, the City of Naperville is slated to begin work to improve the traffic flow and pedestrian amenities on 111th Street from Route 59 to Perth Drive. During construction, 111th Street will remain open to traffic. However, motorists will experience daily daytime lane closures that will reduce 111th Street to one lane with flaggers directing traffic.
